In the world of Mens Casio Watches the Casio Databank is a very capable wristwatch that was released in the 1980s but is still a bestseller to this day. The Casio Databank was the first of Mens Casio Watches that provided a way to electronically store vast amounts of data on one's wrist. These watches soon became much more than electronic notepads, however, with even one model going so far as to serve as a universal remote control for one's cable box, television set, and videocassette recorder! Another version kept track of time around the world - a still-nifty feat for the early '80s.
These were the latest of runaway hits for a company with a long list of industry firsts to its credit. They went on to introduce the world's first-ever compact all-electric calculator in 1957. Not long thereafter they made the first graphing calculator in history, and have been producing a string of innovative products ever since. In fact, they were the first to market digital cameras using LCD screens. Although there are many other well-received lines of practical utilitarian wristwatches, this timepiece remains the hallmark of technological wizardry in an age of PDAs and smartphones.
