An Invicta Mens Watch is the legacy of founder Raphael Picard's vision, which he established back in 1837 to offer famed Swiss timekeeping at moderate prices. Over a century and a half later, his descendants have expanded the brand to include models not just for timekeeping but also as fashion accessories. It is true that something from their unisex collection of wristwatches can be considered an Invicta Mens Watch, given contemporary tastes and styles.

"Invicta" means "invincible" in Latin, and other lines in their extensive catalog of fine timepieces certainly earn the name. However they are admittedly less durable when compared against the likes of the Invicta Subaqua Watch, the manliest of all Invicta mens watches. After all, it does have a solid build and full complement of useful instruments on board.

Perhaps more than any other of their timepieces offered, the Invicta Subaqua Watch is the very portrait of the line. With ruggedly handsome looks of ion-plating, stainless steel, or highly polished titanium, they make fine companions for both social occasions and out-of-doors adventuring. Common features of the Subaqua watches include a brushed unidirectional ratcheting bezel with raised polished Arabic numerals at five-second intervals, a round sunray dial that can be ordered to match your strap choice of field brown or night black, and luminous index markers trimmed in silver tones located at several hour positions.

The subdials are at two, six, and ten o'clock, with a date window at four, while a handy tachymeter for calculating speed over distance rounds out the whole dial. Something like the Noma even offers water resistance rated at 50 ATM.

Their quality is impeccable, right down to the wrist strap or bracelet, such as that on a Speedway, with its flip-lock and heavy clasp but no sharp edges - meaning no pulled hairs! The Speedway is one of the most elegant-looking timepieces they offer, with very straightforward operations. Pushers allow it to function as a stopwatch. Hassle-free quartz movement assures time keeping reliability.

Hour markers are of chrome and have the company's custom luminous paint, Tritnite, applied in their centers. They are set against a white watch face for a muted look, in contrast to the hour and minute hands which feature black piping along their length, with Tritnite set in for visibility in conditions of dim lighting. A second-hand ends in an arrow-point to distinguish the three thin hands of a Speedway.

With a market in need of quality and value, these watches have made it a priority to have affordable collections that perform well beyond their cost.
